Nearly Headless Nick and the Grey lady

My cosplay of Hogwarts ghost Nearly Headless Nick from the Harry Potter Series. This costume was developed for a death day party photoshoot at Infinitus in Orlando (2012), but the photo here is from Misti-con 2013. I upgraded Nick's facial hair. This is a book cosplay and I am really please that this vision of Nick aligns with JKR's.

The shoes are painted and the rosettes are velcroed on. Nick has a lot of bling and tons of homemade trim. Nick's hat is the same base I used for Augusta longbottom, I just covered it over si that's why you see the accordion crease on the underside of the brim.

I made this by modifying patterns. That's not a historically accurate doublet.

You may not be able to tell there are silver glitter contact lenses in Nick.

Nick's companion, The Grey lady, is played by My LJ friend Irish.
